Colorado Lands Four-Star Wide Receiver Jaiden Kelly-Murray
The recruiting momentum continues in Boulder.
The Colorado Buffaloes added another major piece to their future on Monday, securing a commitment from four-star wide receiver Jaiden Kelly-Murray, one of the top pass catchers in the 2027 recruiting class. Kelly-Murray chose Colorado over programs including Illinois, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest after reopening his recruitment earlier this spring.
The South Carolina native has built a reputation as one of the most explosive playmakers in the Southeast. At 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, Kelly-Murray combines elite speed, sharp route running, and big-play ability that make him a dangerous weapon whenever the ball is in his hands. He recorded 64 receptions for 957 yards and 14 touchdowns during his most recent season and previously posted a 1,200-yard campaign as a sophomore.
Colorado's coaching staff made Kelly-Murray a priority target over the past several weeks, and that effort paid off. The talented receiver noted that no program had recruited him harder down the stretch than the Buffaloes.
His commitment continues what has been a hot recruiting streak for Coach Prime and the Buffaloes, giving Colorado another highly rated offensive weapon for the future. Recruiting analysts view Kelly-Murray as one of the top wide receivers in the nation and one of the highest-rated skill position commitments in Colorado's 2027 class.
With Kelly-Murray now in the fold, Colorado adds another dynamic athlete to an already impressive recruiting haul and further strengthens the foundation for the program's future in the Big 12.
